Financial Guidance Center is a nonprofit organization having the objective of fostering financial responsibility among all consumers in Nevada.
This program emphasizes postsecondary education and business capitalization with a goal of increasing asset accumulation for low-income households in Nevada. Consumer Credit Counseling Service of Southern Nevada has been successful in providing diverse programs to increase participants’ financial self-sufficiency and asset building, including financial counseling, a debt management/repayment program, bankruptcy counseling, an IRS advocacy program, a Fresh Start Checking program, tax preparation assistance, and credit report review.
Partners
Financial Guidance Center partners with AARP, United Way of Southern Nevada, Wells Fargo, Women's Development Center, and Silver State Fair Housing Council to provide recruitment and referral services.
