Community Action Council of Howard County MD

Community Action Council of Howard County works to eradicate income disparities in an exceptionally prosperous county by providing low-income residents with services including Head Start and other academic enrichment activities, housing, energy and weatherization support, crisis assistance, job training, and tax counseling.

The project supports residents aspiring to homeownership, postsecondary education, and business capitalization with the goal of achieving income and asset security.

The project has partnerships with the Howard County Department of Housing and Community Development and the Columbia Foundation.
