Sensible Shelter

Sensible Shelter emphasizes homeownership, postsecondary education, and business capitalization, with the goal of providing affordable housing and promoting self-sufficiency. Sensible Shelter has been successful at strengthening local economies by assisting low-income families with building their assets.

Sensible Shelter partners with the Greene Metropolitan Housing Authority (GMHA), US Bank, Huntington Bank, and Wright-Patt Credit Union for funding, and Greene County Job and Family Services, Greene Metropolitan Housing Authority, Ohio State University Extension – Greene County Office, and the Greene County Department's Homebuyer Education.
