East Columbus Development Co., Inc.

East Columbus Development Corporation emphasizes homeownership, postsecondary education and business capitalization, with the goal of improving conditions of the poorest neighborhoods in Franklin County through homeownership and the creation of human and investment capital. The Corporation has been successful in promoting affordable and sustainable homeownership through IDAs and developing a stable infrastructure to manage IDAs and serve account holders' needs.

East Columbus Development Corporation partners with PNC Bank to provide IDA accounts, the United Way of Central Ohio to expand the use of the EITC and other tax credits for IDA participants, along Columbus Community College and other organizations to support participants and provide additional non-Federal match money. Eastside also worked in the past with Ohio Community Development Corporation as a network grantee.
