Delta State University

Delta State University is the lead organization for program management, program oversight, and fiscal responsibility. Its Center for Community and Economic Development has delegated administrative responsibilities for the grant. They have provided one AFI grant since 2011.

Delta State University emphasizes homeownership and postsecondary education while integrating financial education and savings habits to about 150 eligible low-income individuals. Twenty-five individuals who successfully complete financial education will open an IDA account that will be matched.
