United Way for the Greater New Orleans Area (UWGNOA) is a human service organization that has been provided one AFI grant since 2006, with the objective of increasing economic prosperity in economically depressed greater New Orleans.
UWGNOA emphasizes homeownership and small business development, with the goals of providing opportunities and increasing economic prosperity for low-income families throughout greater New Orleans. This grantee has been successful in improving outreach and opening new IDAs.
