The District 7 Human Resources Development Council is a nonprofit organization that has provided three AFI grants since 2002, with the objective of promoting economic stimulation and self-sufficiency in south-central Montana.
The council emphasizes homeownership, postsecondary education, and business capitalization, with the goal of promoting economic stimulation and self-sufficiency in south-central Montana. The council has been successful in offering financial education classes and expanding its program to include additional asset development incentive programs and an education scholarship program.
Partners
The council partners with the Housing Authority, Local Child Support Office, YWCA, MSU-B, MSU-B College of Technology, Little Big Horn College, Family Services, Family Tree, Family Support Network, Job Service , and Office of Public Assistance to provide networks to disseminate information and recruit participants.

Focus Population
