Community and Shelter Corporation is a nonprofit organization that has provided eleven AFI grants since 2001, with the objectives of encouraging monthly savings and financial planning, boosting participants’ economic stability through savings and asset building, and enabling them to invest in their own educations, purchase homes, or start small businesses.

The Network has been successful at opening IDAs, purchasing assets, providing financial education training, and expanding the program to benefit more participants throughout Oregon.
